OUR SMOOTH MOVE TIMELINE -

A COMPLEX PROCESS MADE SIMPLE!

 

Every Real Estate transaction involves complicated planning and organization to insure a Smooth Move!  You are advised to work with a highly skilled and aware Realtor to guarantee an easy transition.  Here is an outline of the steps you should experience if you are guided by a competent team.

1. Considering Moving
     a. Seller checks out online prices of  homes and estimates of their home and starts to look for their new destination.

3. Contacting, Meeting and Signing With a Realtor
     a. Today this involves a Zoom meeting to discuss and create your goals with an Agent.  This is Your Timeline for being ready to Sell and Buy.  This conversation is best held as early as possible in your process to ensure expert guidance.
     b. Looking together at Recently Sold Homes (Comps) to Begin Discussion of Pricing
     c. Also, if you are Lucky to have an agent with a Concierge Team, meeting  with them to present some options to assist in preparation. Preliminary concentration is on Selling.  
     d. Docs Signed

4. Seller (as Buyer) Gets Pre-Approved for a Mortgage–
     a. Realtor Recommends Mortgage Lender or Seller Chooses own Lender

5. Seller (as Buyer) Starts Looking at Home with Team Member

6. Preparing to Sell Your Home
     a. Seller Prepares Home for Sale
          i. With Expert Guidance of a Realtor & Concierge Stager
         ii. The Ormont Group’s Personal Concierge Team works with    Seller handling your Smooth Move.  
     b. Realtor Prepares to Market Home
          i. Arranges for Photos, Video Tour, Floor Plan, Sets up MLS
         ii. Continued discussion of Pricing

7. Seller Hires Lawyer for Future Possible Double Closing

8. Home Goes on the Market- Virtual Tour, Open Houses & Showings by Appointment

9. Offers are Presented

10. Steps to Closing
